Dragonfly by

I'm feeling pretty pleased that I have an outfit to share today which is summer masquerading as fall. I know you'll look at the wool hat and the long sleeves and the deeper colors and when you click the "pin" button you will write a description like "Perfect Fall Outfit", but you will have been tricked. This is a summer outfit. I am wearing sandals, and it was not cold at all.

It's not your fault, it's the hat. That hat could fool anyone.

    I think I would call this a transitional outfit ;) Mainly because despite the fact that the only thing in your outfit that looks at all fall-like is the wool hat, the light in the background has that distinct fall goldenness to it, a richer, deeper tone than summer sun. And really, who wouldn't be happy to have the sun, no matter when it comes, especially if it allows you to continue to wear sandals? (So. Envious. It's pouring rain here.)

    I'll need to try out this "hat" trick ;-) It's definitely not cold here so a dress + hat might be the solution to my "I want to wear fall outfits but it's too hot outside" problem!

    I am use to seeing people wear clothes that have nothing to do with the weather ! so its normal to me :)
    When I walk to grab lunch, it will be 30 degrees and I will see women in dresses and tights or mens in suits ..
