I always like to think that with every new year as my style evolves I will somehow get my shopping habits under control, that I will only buy amazing pieces I'll wear all the time, that I'll only make sensible purchases and not another grey sweater just because I love grey sweaters.
Even with that optimism, I know deep down that I am that impulsive shopper, a bargain hunter who can't pass up a silk skirt for $10 even if I only wear it once, and an obsessive compulsive shopper calling stores across the country to track down a dress that I saw and will stop at nothing to own.
I'll try to be good, but I suppose it is only a matter of what sale I can't resist first!

Despite struggling with seriously cold weather, 2015 was a pretty amazing year for you and your outfits, I must say. I remember so many of these outfits very fondly and I can't see what impulse purchases will work their way seamlessly into your wardrobe in the new year. Because let's face it, we are who we are and it's not worth torturing ourselves saying we'll somehow be different just because we've turned a page on the calendar - I've given up resolutions about wearing more colour and buying less shoes and it's the best thing :) Happy New Year!

ReplyDeleteI love wrap-ups of the year like this, so many great outfit inspiration pictures! You had a very stylish year! :)
ReplyDeleteAnd yes, I always hope I'll buy less too, but I've already gone splurging in the sales, haha! It definitely is a matter of just waiting to see what sale breaks your resolve first ;) I am buying less, but I don't think I'll ever stop completely!
Happy new year!

Oh I love to see how you transition from warm clothes to the cooler ones... a great year indeed. Like you, I also hunt down items... however lately I have not been enamoured enough by anything that I MUST track.
