Holidaze

Having the weekend after Christmas was so relaxing; I loved being able to stay in the holiday bubble, sleeping in and eating my body weight in cookies.

Christmas treated us to some incredibly warm weather, and while it was accompanied by more rain than I would have liked, I couldn't get over the idea that was nearly in summer clothes on December 24th.

Despite all the wonderful gifts I received, I did end up taking advantage of a couple sales - the day before Christmas half off sale at J.Crew made this fringe top impossible to resist, then I treated myself to one boxing day purchase, a scalloped hem blouse at Banana Republic.

    I had my eye on that fringe top too but it ended up being a little too boxy for me. It looks FAB on you! I'm glad you had a very relaxing and happy Christmas. Any exciting NYE or weekend plans?

    I've been going back and forth on this top. I love actually seeing it on someone since I was unsure of how it would fit. It looks so great on you! I might have to use one of my gift cards this weekend! ;)

    Ooo...I love this outfit! The fringe top is so cute and I love the shimmery accessories! I'm glad you had a good Christmas! I must have brought the warm weather with me from Cali. My parents actually put the air conditioning on. I was like "Nooo!" I came here for some winter! Haha...It was actually colder in California this week!

    I've been hearing just amazing things about the holiday weather you had on the east coast this year - such a contrast from all of the snow last season, I can't believe I'm seeing you in bare legs at the end of December! It sounds like you had a wonderful holiday and, of course, who can resist a little after Christmas shopping? I did the same, although now I'm wishing I had picked up a fringed top I had my eye on, because this one looks so good on you! I don't know if you're planning to wear this outfit for New Year's Eve but it certainly would be fitting :)

    I spoke to my brother who is in VA and they told me it was warm, I could not believe it either... if its warm up there, imagine how it was here... Christmas night was super hot.
    I spent it doing charity work, so no fancy look for me.

    I've had a nice time relaxing after Christmas too, although this year I got the unwanted gift of a cold... so that hasn't been fun. I love that fringe top, it's so fun! I missed the 50% off sale..eek!

    Glad you had a merry Christmas - I think relaxing in PJs and eating cookies after Christmas day is one of the best bits! :)

    It's nice you had some warm weather for Christmas too - it's funny as it was cooler than usual here and we enjoyed the break in the heat!
