Marathon shopping

I'm kicking off the weekend with Westfield shopping mall event this evening, following that up with some more shopping, then likely staying up far too late, staring into the soft glow of my MacBook browsing endless pages of clothes and goods I would like to buy, both for myself and for others.

I would never deny that shopping fills a large part of my recreational time, but during the holiday season it can become all consuming. I think when it comes to my Christmas shopping, no matter how strong I am out the gate, there will always be those lingering gifts that need buying in the 11th hour.

Shopping aside, this weekend I'm planning on going tree hunting, and celebrating two years with Sean.

    If ever there was a time of year when marathon shopping was completely acceptable, this is it. And I have to say, your shopping outfit looks rather more practical than mine! I can't help it - heels are what I always reach for. But I love how stylish you make sneakers look. I would never have expected to see them when I scrolled down through these photos, but there they are on your feet and they really work with the whole outfit.

    Happy anniversary! Wow! Two years already??? Crazy! I agree on shopping--it is still fun in the holiday season, but it really puts my shopping in check like "wow, I really used to like this but it seems to never end!"

    Your outfit looks comfy and perfect for a day of shopping - online or in store! :) I never knew you had Westfield in the US, that's pretty cool! We have them here, they are good to go and browse a whole bunch of different stores.

    I started shopping early, but just like you I find there's always one or two people I struggle to get presents for until nearer Christmas. Got the majority done though which is good :)
