Reaffirmation

While not many outfit photos have been happening lately, you will have to take my word for it when I say I've been living in these black jeans. Comfortable, easy, flattering and inexpensive, they tick all the boxes. I love the simplicity of the black jean and striped top, and even though I felt very minimal that day, leopard heels, red bag and an attention getting hat amounted to the contrary.

Otherwise, over the weekend I got into the Christmas spirit by putting up the tree, taking home the cutest brass reindeer from my churches fair, and getting a few more gifts off my list. Cards are nearly all out, and now that I've nearly bought TJMaxx out of their paper, wrapping needs to commence.

One more note - I got so many compliments wearing this hat! It made me think of a line from Aziz Ansari's new Netflix show, "Thanks for the compliment, reaffirmed the purchase." Which is funny because it's true. Sometimes I feel like I need that in order to feel confident in my purchases!
