My holiday shopping officially done, and now I can focus on wrapping and baking and maybe, just maybe a little relaxing. I'm also indulging myself in an extravagant wish list (because it's slightly more fun than window shopping knowing there might be the slightest of possibilities of receiving something). I've yet to properly protect my new iPhone, so a case might be in order. If only I could choose one! I also have a huge weakness for jewelry by Gorjana, and would love another piece or two, perhaps a lariat necklace. I'm also liking this fur scarf trend that is happening right now - how fun would one be?! I'll have to think about everything I'm wishing for this weekend and share them next week.

ReplyDeleteHang in there! The holidays are always so chaotic and working full time and blogging is so hard! But you look super chic in this pink top!

Ugh, I totally feel you on the holiday chaos and life! You are looking fab!
ReplyDeleteI'm not going to lie, hearing that someone else has shown up to work in mismatched shoes was strangely comforting - I've done it a few times and although no one really notices, once you notice, it's hard not to feel self-conscious the whole day. At least your holiday shopping is done! I still have to put together a present for my best friend and I know I've left it way too late, definitely something to check off my never-ending to-do list this weekend. Here's hoping you'll actually get to relax on your two days off!

PS: Of course I love the outfit ;)
Your boot story made me chuckle. Never done it, but I can totally see it happening to me. Great look!

Haha, oh goodness! I don't think I ever wore two different shoes to work. Although I did have that problem with socks a few times!
ReplyDeleteMy holiday shopping and wrapping is all done! WOO! (Except for wrapping Dad's present because it's at my parents)

Gorjana pieces are so beautiful! Thankfully scrubs put themselves together in the mornings or else I would be showing up in two different colored boots this week too. It's been a crazy one.
ReplyDeleteI love how you incorporated your wish list in this post for all to see. . .Happy Holidays!!

The days do seem to be flying by. I need time to stop - just for a few days :)
ReplyDeleteLove your blouse and necklace :)
Oh man, one black boot and one brown?! I mean, it is quite dark in the mornings, so I can't really blame you. That must have thrown you off! I love the soft pink against all the dark. Pink is so lovely on you.
ReplyDeleteI met this man who beads lariat necklaces and they're absolutely gorgeous and so I've been wanting to make one/find one because they're so unique!
Simple and chic! Love this look especially your accessories!

First up - love the effortless look of this outfit, beautiful and the kind of outfit I wish I could nail!
ReplyDeleteSecondly, I feel your pain with the shoes! While I haven't worn mis matched shoes to work in the same sense you did, I reached for (and thought I picked up) my brown shoes one day, only to realise later (at LUNCHTIME!) that I'd worn the black heels instead and they looked terrible with the brown pants. I felt so silly all day, although no-one noticed. Or if they did they didn't say anything ;)
This upcoming weekend is our kind of quiet one before Christmas to relax, take a breather, and wrap those last minute gifts. I hope you get that soon too! :)

Oh no, did you convince your coworkers that it was a new trend you were trying to start? Or did anyone even notice? I hope you had time to relax over the weekend. I'm impressed that you're done with your shopping! Love that pretty, soft blouse!
