I know my outfit might seem sub-par for the weather conditions, but I have on tights and socks and a slip under the skirt, along with a thermal under my sweater. Not that I was overly warm, but I was only dying a little.
The only redeeming factor of the frigid weekend was the unwavering sun, that could almost trick you into believing that it was warmer than it was.

Haha, thank goodness for tights and socks or you would have died! I went out on Saturday and had leggings on under my pants to keep warm XD Sunday I was under a blanket all day

I remember the one charm of extremely cold days being the sunshine. The colder it is in winter, the prettier it is - it almost seems cruel. But then, so doe the fact that cold weather generally limits your outfit choices to pants, pants and pants. I love how extremely you layered to make this outfit happen, because as far as I'm concerned, it was totally worth it; the pink maxi couldn't look lovelier against the snowy, sunny background and it looks like it was made to be paired with fur!

This is a perfect example of how you can look fabulous & still layer (without anyone knowing)! Heck...you could have 3 thermals under that sweater & two pairs of tights, and it'd still look the same!! Beautiful Lydia! jodie

Omigosh Lyddie, this outfit is an absolute dREAM! I'm obsessing over here. The fur, that long pink maxi skirt... everything here is so perfect. I want to steal this outfit from you! Sorry you got a little too hot in it, but it's way worth it. :)
ReplyDeleteLove all the beautiful textures and blush against the leather!

I hate tricky sun like that! And I feel like that is the only kind of sun we get in Wisconsin until approximately May. But you look stunning! That skirt is so pretty with your layers!
