Pop of color

I've had a crush on the little pink Coach Penny bag since in came out in 2013. I tend to be more a fan of their legacy bags, and even more so of actual vintage bags than Coach's newer fare. Plus, at the price for such a small bag it hardly seemed worth it.

Though three years later I'd still find myself perusing eBay looking to see if one would show up in my price range of $70 or less, and when one did, I couldn't help but to click 'buy it now'.

Smitten by it's adorable bright pink shade and tassels, I'm willing to over look the fact that I can barely cram my essentials into it.

  5. Ooh that is a great score, and the cuteness makes up for the slightly impractical size for sure!! You're reminding me that I need to add some more neon to my closet--I had a chartreuse cardigan I wore to death that I need to find a replacement for!

  10. That is such a cute bag - I can see why you had to have it!

Sometimes when there are things we've wanted for a while we just have to take the plunge when they show up in our budget range! Not every bag has to be super practical and hold a lot to make us happy :)

    Have a happy Easter!

  11. I would never have thought to put magenta and yellow together like this but it really works! You look incredible, it's such a fun new color combination for spring!

  12. I've been obsessed with that exact same bag for awhile but convinced myself to stay away from it, simply because my closet was overflowing with messenger bags! Plus I don't do well with small bags, and my boyfriend makes fun of me for considering them because he knows I'll complain about how useless they are (for me personally) once I make a purchase!! ;D

  16. I love your outfit. Especially, the trench coat and purse. Living in the midwest, with plenty of rain, you wear trench coats quite a bit in the spring. I found trench coats in 4 different colors, red, black, grey and tan. They match everything. I absolutely adore coach handbags.

  17. Loving the neon... you're right, not passe at all.
I was at a consignment store this weekend and came across 3 vintage Coach bags, prices ranging from 15.00 USD to 25.00 USD... the colors were white, light blue and I can't remember the third one.

  18. Like you, I'm much more a fan of Coach Legacy bags than their current collections. In my early twenties I adored Coach but my enthusiasm has since waned and it's rare that I step into one of their stores. But Legacy bags are not easy to find in Canada and I admit that some of their smaller current bags, like the Penny, have also caught my eye recently - though I doubt I could pull off this bright pink shade nearly as well as you do!
