We set sail from Stamford, CT, packed a picnic dinner of the first pesto of the season, bread, wine, and the sweetest strawberries for dessert. It was a beautiful way to spend the last day of the weekend, and the best view of the fireworks you can get.

Sounds like a perfect day/evening! I spent my time sitting by the pool and sitting on the couch, hah

What a fun way to spend the 4th of July! We celebrate Canada Day on July 1st and, admittedly, the most exciting thing I did that day was meet up with my best friend for frozen yogurt. Nothing to complain about, but I don't think it really qualifies as a celebration ;) I'm sure there were fireworks somewhere, but I didn't see them. Speaking of the 4th of July, I love the white and blue shades in this look. You've reminded me, once again, that I need more good shirt dresses in my life.

It sounds like you had a great holiday weekend. We should look into something similar in our area for next year.
ReplyDeleteThat sounds like such an amazing way to spend the 4th! I did absolutely nothing to celebrate Canada Day this year (we even missed out on our annual camping trip because we're heading to Vegas next week and wanted to save up money).
