No sooner did I walk through the door than did I see this white eyelet lace skirt. No other ones like it around, not even with the other skirts, like it was sitting there just waiting for me. Same brand as the top I wore in Tuesday's post, a perfect match. For $30, how could I leave without it? And that lemon verbena dish soap - amazing.

What can I say.... meant to be ?

This skirt is too lovely and it really does sound like it was just sitting there, waiting for you to come to the store to rescue it. I rarely think of pairing red with white but the match works so well in this outfit - it's slightly nautical but still totally elegant and wonderfully summery. I do wish we had TJ Maxx here in Canada, I always have great luck there just like you seem to, and Winners, which is our equivalent, is really not the same kind of treasure trove of beautiful bargains.

Meh, we've all been guilty of that! And I think it was fate, personally. What a pretty skirt and it goes perfectly with that striped top (of which I am wearing an exact replica in real life today). Great sandals, too, of course!
ReplyDeleteOooh girl- LOVE that skirt! What a great find!

No one could have resisted that skirt. It is amazing and looks incredible on you! Definitely meant to be!
ReplyDeleteIt was meant to be! That skirt is so pretty and it is so timeless with the red striped top. At least you still came out of there with dish soap :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a steal! Your TJX sounds like it's way better than mine. And yes, lemon verbena hand soap is the absolute best.
ReplyDeleteI adore red stripes, so I love this so much.
