Fair style

Fairs are a quintessential part of fall, and while I might not be the first in line to go, I was persuaded to tag along and indulge in all the Fair Food, of which an impressive spread was consumed. 

In between seeing all the cute farm animals and clamouring to get a good seat for Nick Fradiani's performance, a few outfit photos were quickly snapped in front of the most lovely barn. It was actually much darker than you'd think, thank goodness for high ISO settings ;)

    It's so interesting - because I live in such a big city, and a relatively impersonal one full of expats, things like fall fairs don't really happen and I never think of them as being something we could look at doing anymore, whereas growing up in a smaller community, they (and all the associated fair food) were a regular part of life. I haven't thought of what to wear to a fair for more years than I can count but if I were going to one now, I think my outfit would probably look a lot like this (but without any colour, of course, ha ha.)

    You said fair, I thought food. I've been holding back on eating all I want as my clothes were not fitting anymore.
    I like this outfit, I am specially drawn to the waist bag, you've gotten some wear out of it. I would find it hard to style.

    I like your casual outfit :) Our big fair is a long day out, and really crowded, but I'm excited to take the boys when they are bigger. It's a week long event, I often wonder how similar or different our fairs are. Lots of food to eat and animals to see sounds pretty universal! :)
