Even though the weekend was dreary and wet, I still managed to head to the orchard and pick some pumpkins and mums for my front porch. I also tackled a couple small sewing projects, I finally hemmed the maxi dress I picked up back in June (thankfully it will be perfect for fall) and I decided to turn an old jacket into a vest, so those two pieces will probably end up on the blog next week!
Even though it's Columbus Day, I still have to work, so I want all of you who've got it off that I'm super jealous.

ReplyDeleteI like how this looks, those jeans are superb and as much as I love the bag I cannot imagine me wearing it. As I mentioned things would be falling through the cracks.

It's funny, I honestly never thought I'd wear flared jeans again but I've gotten back into them in a big way this fall and I love seeing how different people style them because it's giving me all kinds of inspiration. Up until now I hadn't given much thought to a bamboo bag, but seeing you carry one with your flared jeans, I wonder if I might not want to rethink that...!

I recently got some high-waisted, dark wash, flared jeans and I wear them on the regular when I am not at work (which I am today as well . . . darn it!). I love your bag--impracticality be damned!
ReplyDeleteThat's too bad that you have to work - it's Canadian thanksgiving and so I have the day off work and am just loving lazing around the house!

How cool is that bamboo bag! Maybe it is not very comfortable variant for everyday, but it is very stylish! Like the outfit!

Love the 70's vibe without being like you've just walked off a throwback film set! The minimal top and clean lines makes me love this. And those flares are like they were made for you!XX
