I can easily envision myself being happy and successful in 2017.
This week has been a jumble. Wednesday morning I woke up convinced it was Saturday, or at least Friday, while Thursday night I caught myself thinking it was Monday. At least today is Friday and the first weekend of the new year is upon us.

I'm a huge lover of fun & interesting coats! In fact, anytime I look at any, my husband gives me the eye roll because I already have so many! But hey, you wear one every day in the cold months, right?
ReplyDeleteThis one is spectacular, Lydia! Even if you didn't see the lining, it really is gorgeous!!

eBay really is an incredible thing - that a decade-old coat can still be found if you look for it on that site is nothing short of miraculous! And though brocade hasn't really felt like my style lately, I do love this coat on you and am realizing I don't know if I've ever seen it before, which makes me all the more excited to see what other gems you are going to pull out of your closet during your shopping ban!

Both the coat & jacket look great together Lydia! I love brocade! I also love the buckle hardware on your boots. Glad you photographed this outfit. Looks great!

You have been killing the outfits lately. Particularly yesterday--one of my favorites on you ever (I was unable to comment--sorry!). I love the boots and the coat is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteWow - that jacket is just amazing! It has such a decadence to it. It would definitely be one of my favourites too.

Wow a decade, really ? I absolutely love it - the inside panel and of course the lux brocade.
ReplyDeleteAnd I know someday I will come across my own Willis bag :) Hopefully not in the next 3 months ;)
Strength to you over the weekend. Avoid the mall.
Really amazing coat!

That is a beautiful oat - I can see why it gets you lots of compliments. The burgundy bag is perfect with the navy and black too! :) If you like an outfit you should definitely wear it again, and getting blog photos is a good excuse too! :)
ReplyDeleteWas reading Lorena's blog (I've been so behind with my blog reading already this year!) and saw you're doing a 3 months no spend challenge, good for you! I'm attempting #6monthsWithoutShopping so I'll be cheering you both on! :)
Hope you are having a wonderful start to 2017!

That coat is a show stopper! I would keep it for another decade just to find fun occasions to wear it for. I love the brocade, but the paisley lining is my favorite part too!
