All my thoughts for the coming new year are positive and inspiring.
And the tuck. How amazing is it to have a perfect tuck? And it won't come untucked! I don't know if everyone has these problems, but trying to get a shirt tucked and not look bulky or bunchy or blousey is pretty much impossible for me, and then when I do somehow manage it, the second I raise my arms for any reason, it's completely ruined.
This velvet bodysuit is going to be my new favorite piece for the winter.

My stepmom (the 60's model on my blog) loves bodysuits for exactly that reason, Lydia!!
ReplyDeleteShe can't stand tucking shirts in otherwise because they don't stay put!
For some reason it doesn't bother me as much, but my mom also taught me to tuck my shirts into my undies---maybe that helps?

I am in love with this bodysuit! I found a similar one at H&M with a mock neck but the draped silhouette really makes this one for me. Funnily enough, the first time I wore mine was with my Yoga Jeans - great minds clearly think alike! While I'm all for imperfect tucks - one of the very few fashion things that I, for whatever reason, don't really care about - there really is nothing better than just slipping a pair of pants on over a bodysuit. It's just so easy!

The bodysuit looks great. Love that it doesn't untuck.

I love that bodysuit! The neckline on it and the fact that it has a longer sleeve are just awesome - and I think you were spot on to opt for the skinny jeans, they look great with it.

Even though its not your custom silhouette (I too follow the loose/tight) I think it looks fabulous - the jeans fit perfectly and the velvet bodysuit was a fabulous purchase. I think we'll be seeing a lot of the bodysuit.
ReplyDeleteA velvet body suit?!!? What!! I need this in my life! It looks stunning on you!

Seriously, can we talk about how amazing this looks on you?! And your hair looks gorgeous in these photos too! What has attracted me to bodysuits is the tuck. I hate the bunching and lumpiness you have from shirts so I might finally have to give a bodysuit a shot!
ReplyDeleteThe bodysuit is gorgeous! I have been trying to find a good one, I bought one from American Apparel but it's way too summery to wear right now!

I love that one! Velvet is always so pretty. Tucking can be a hassle with regular tops. Bodysuits definitely take that problem away. They always fit beautifully.

This outfit is gorgeous! I love bodysuits at the moment for this exact reason - the tuck! And this one has definitely given you a really sleek line while looking absolutely amazing in velvet :)
