I give myself permission to feel good right now.
This dark moody floral, especially paired with black and red has more fall vibes than spring, but since it feels more winter than spring right now, I think it works. Hopefully winter will release us from its grasp soon!

I'm all for muted and moody florals so I'm totally into this...not to mention the fact that those boots are just straight up awesome.

I do think that "spring" is the time we all think of florals--be it dark, light or anything in between!! I love that you & Shea have the same top!!

The fact that you need to use protectant spray is basically 100% of the reason that I try as much as I can to avoid buying suede shoes - no one has time for that! Theses boots are lovely, though, and I think what I love about them is as much what I love about the whole look; that it is versatile enough to work for fall or spring, with the combinations of florals and dark but vibrant shades. I'm interested in seeing Shea's version as well, so I'm clicking over!

i love how the florals bring a hint of spring!
ReplyDeleteOoh yes! Love the combo!! And I've been doing the same thing, back to darker colors in this gloomy weather (except today's post, haha)

I absolutely agree with you this look totally works for the weather these days. Loving the boots and floral top.
ReplyDeleteI remember when Shea wore a similar look! You both look fabulous in that top! Love your suede boots! Thank goodness your snow is almost gone so you can wear them@
ReplyDeleteYou know how I like that top and the idea of pairing it with the bag is perfect, it makes the bright color stand out even more. Bright is what you need right now ;)
ReplyDeleteI would copy this outfit also! This top is so pretty and I love those boots!

Aw hey thanks for the shout-out friend! I love this on you--I especially love how the red bag makes the red in the top really stand out. That's one of my favorite things about this top, all the fun colors you can work with!
