Lavender

During the winter months I tend to shy away from color, while the spring and summer typically bring a renewed love bright shades and bold prints. This year I feel like the shift is less noticeable, I'm still reaching for my neutrals, however I was quite pleased to have received this lavender pleated peplum top for my birthday. I've also been living in my cardigans lately, as evidenced by the past few posts, and don't see that trend stopping until some summer weather eventually arrives.

    The only real shift in my wardrobe between winter and spring is that I start to reach for more light coloured neutrals. I admittedly still wear a lot of black, just in the form of silks instead of sweaters, in warmer months. But I do love a good pastel paired with neutrals and I love all of the soft shades in this look, from your lilac top to the white back to those gorgeous snakeskin and nude pumps, which I always love seeing you wear :)

    I'm totally the same way- I wear a lot of black, gray, navy in the fall + winter, then become a bit color-obsessed in the summer! I love this blouse- too pretty!

    I really love the little asymmetrical detail on the peplum (not to mention how pretty that lavender shade - I definitely don't really ever wear that colour myself but it really is so lovely for spring).

    I tend to shy away from color during winter, and I need to try and get back to wearing color all year round! I love the gorgeous color of that top, and the pleats on the bottom are so pretty!

    I like these colors together and the shoes with the cardi look so good.
    I am currently drawn to those items that I have worn once but can wear again before tossing in the laundry basket... talk about choices.

    I tend to wear more neutrals in the winter months too, but I'm always ready for color come spring. That top is SO pretty! I love the color and the pleats, and the fact that they're asymmetrical. I need more of that color in my wardrobe too.
