White + Blue

The world needs more Saturdays. I'm not one to complain about having a day off in the middle of the week - it was a lovely Fourth - but it was kind of like having a second Sunday, when I know I've got to to go work the next day and somehow that taints the whole thing. So I'm advocating for more Saturdays, the one day when I feel like I have the potential to do anything.

    I totally agree with you - Sundays are always a total wash for me, spent mostly just doing laundry and cleaning house and getting prepared for the coming week...they're never really a "fun" day. Unrelatedly, your top in these photos is just stunning, it's a really unique piece.

    I am fully on board with this more Saturdays plan. I have always found that Sundays are hard to enjoy because I spend so much time thinking about everything I have to do in the week ahead, thus ruining my day. I know I should just get out of the habit of thinking that way, but it's proven a difficult habit to break - so more Saturdays are certainly in order. On a fashion-related note, I just love these wide white trousers on you. So elegant and lovely.

    I'm all for more Saturdays. I feel like this could be accomplished if every week were a 4 day workweek--then Friday and Saturday would BOTH feel like Saturday. I love this look. The pleats on that top are so pretty, and I love it with the classic white. So pretty!
