I don't think I could have managed to wait six months to wear this top, either - it's too pretty! I definitely think spring when I think of cherry blossoms, and I would never consider them to be a dark floral, but against the navy fabric they really do seem to work that way and the effect is lovely. We're currently stuck in a weird season somewhere between summer and fall; my apartment building has turned the heaters on in the common areas but it's still near 80 degrees Fahrenheit outside, so at some points in the day it still feels like summer... although not necessarily in a good way!

I do love that top! I'm just a little sad that the pants are a little bit big since I wore them...GAH! And I love how it looks with those matching pants!

That is such a beautiful top and I can see it continuing to work for cooler weather with a cardigan on top, maybe even a long sleeve tee underneath...but our winters aren't as cold as yours, we don't have snow to contend with so it might make sense to reserve this for the warmer weather! Either way it's great you could give it another wear :)
ReplyDeleteHope you are having a lovely start to the week.

Oh it's wonderful that you can seamlessly wear this fall or spring - it definitely works both seasons!
ReplyDeleteI think the navy base on the top makes this floral stretch to fall- well done, babe!
