Instant Crush: Yellow Gold

I was initially feeling the yellows, but then what is better than yellow, but a deep, rich, mustardy gold?
It's autumnal and party perfect, maybe even a touch ostentatious, but when used just right, couldn't it be the perfect standout piece?

    I would never instinctively reach for yellow anything. But I admit that yellow is one of few colours where, while I don't actually consider that I like it, I often see pieces and think - that is a lovely yellow. I could even almost wear it. I had that thought about the shoulder bag and the lovely satin loafers in this selection. I probably won't actually go for either but - I will think about it, which with red or green or orange, I would never do.

    I like the idea of a touch of warm gold in an outfit (and I usually shy away from the shade) - but these pieces all look so lux that I could definitely see it working, maybe against an otherwise all black outfit. And a little ostentation is never a bad thing, right?

    Okay so that velvet skirt is probably the least practical of the bunch, but MAN is it gorgeous!! I love those tassel earrings too and the price on those are much better :)
