As you can see, all that snow didn't last, but the weathermen are promising a lot more this winter...

Your hair looks just fabulous in these shots! I'll be honest, I've virtually given up taking outfit photos for the year at this point - most days its too cold out to even consider it. Every once in a while I am possessed by the idea that I should give it a try. We usually get the shots but then I regret it enough to take a two-week (or longer) pause before trying again. There just doesn't seem to be a good time or temperature, even if you have a coat on. Fashion blogger problems...

Winter photos are near impossible for me. The sun doesn't rise here until 8 am and it sets at 4:30 pm. So basically it's only light out during the exact block of time that you're at work, which means that I pretty much have to do indoor photos with poor lighting and cross my fingers that I can get something better on the weekend.

It's so true, Lydia!! Talk about challenging, and trying to not freeze my tookus off!! Ha ha.
ReplyDeleteIn fact, we just tried to take our photos at the mall, and were told that it wasn't allowed. How interesting, right?

You look great. I am loving the boots and the blush blouse is so lovely. <3 Madison
ReplyDeleteWrinkled or not, I do love that pretty blush blouse. I hate how fleeting daylight is these days--it's hard to get motivated to get anything done, let alone take blog pictures, when it's dark before dinnertime!
ReplyDeleteHere we have already began getting the "Christmas weather" 20 degrees, windy and with the sun out...
ReplyDeleteI really like your hair in these shots.
Winter is the worse for picture taking! On top of the light fading so quickly it's freezing out! Most of the time my hands are just so cold when taking my pics! I love your blouse and the light pastel shade!

I know what you mean. I only take photos on the weekends because, even in the winter, I get more time to take photos. If I had to take them during the week, I'd never get them taken, lol.
ReplyDeleteLove your necklace!

Winter photos are so hard with limited daylight, especially now with 2 kids! We try to squeeze a few in during nap time each weekend but it doesn't always work. Good for you for getting some in! That top is so pretty!
ReplyDeleteAHHH the struggle is REAL in winter for bloggers!
ReplyDeleteBut we'll suffer for our fashion photos :)

It's hard to do outfit pics during the winter, so doing them in between errands is smart!
ReplyDeleteSuch a sweet casual outfit. Lovely boots!
