Thanks to Vionic for sponsoring this post! My style and opinions are my own.
Plus, on the days when there isn't snow, I can slip into these super comfortable loafer slides that Vionic sent over. I think we can all agree that mules and loafers are having their moment and I can not get over how cute these are in the metallic silver! Vionic is another wonderful shoe maker who puts comfort on the same level as style, offering shoes with arch support as well as a padded footbed, and resulting in a pair of shoes I can happily wear all day. On the note of prioritizing comfort while not sacrificing style, I'm not embarrassed to admit that I do wear nude trouser socks with my flats in the winter, because every little bit helps, and I bet you can't even tell.
For sizing with Vionic's shoes, I've found they run wide enough that I can go a half size down in the flats and sandals. Though for the boots I went with my usual size.

Wow - the weather in these photos does look decidedly spring-like! I was just in Toronto briefly, which is closer to you, and it definitely felt like spring... completely with grey skies and lots of rain. I could have done without the rain but it was nice to be able to realistically see that warmer days are on the horizon and with them, exposed ankles and heels. I love my mules and have hated to leave them in my closet all season. This pair is just adorable on you, I love the meticallic silver, especially paired with white and grey.

It definitely looks like Connecticut is well on its way to spring (I wish I would say the same for Alberta). And those shoes are just stunning - they look like that could be a real statement piece and look great paired with all this white in the rest of your outfit.

I love those beautiful mules! It's nice when shoes run wide, I find that too many of them run narrow. I have slightly wide feet so I will have to check out Vionic!
ReplyDeleteI love those slides! I've been thinking about shoes for spring and I think I need to find a pair similar to those--the tassels are so fun too. And so smart to wear trouser socks... you're right, you totally can't tell!
ReplyDeleteloving those silver shoes! great look!

Truthfully, I'm a little jealous of the weather you're having. We still have snow and lots of cold. But I'll be wearing my mules as soon as I can!!

I love all of the tassels - on your loafers and on your bag. I'm SO ready for spring and am wearing transitional pieces whenever I can.
ReplyDeleteThese pictures are putting me in the spring mood and I love it!
ReplyDeleteLove the tassels on those shoes. Also, that coat looks so comfy and cozy - perfect for spring when it's warm but still chilly.

ReplyDeleteI love the fun touch the metallic shoes give to your outfit - I'm wearing metallic shoes today actually, although mine are flats! :) It's a nice little extra interest when you wear something shimmery! :)
ReplyDeleteI like the winter whites of your outfit too - a nod to warmer temperatures but still cosy and practical for the cold!
Hope you are having a lovely week so far! We are getting a lot of rain at the moment which is a welcome change after the heatwaves, haha!

I am mentally and visually preparing for Spring too. This week for example I wore a lot of dresses and I think lots of light colors, light neutrals, white and pastels are next. Your new loafers, teddy coat and bag are all beautiful, chic and cozy!
ReplyDeleteThank you for joining Thursday Moda this week. Also, starting next Sunday, I will be having a monthly linkup the first Sunday of each month so welcome by and join it. It will be awesome! Have a Happy Sunday! Ada. =)
That's such a cozy combo you got there for your top dear. Love it. I too can't wait for spring, but I'll surely miss layers and cute faux fur coats of witner. ha!
