While not intentional, I feel like this outfit is a testament to my thriftiness, the new J.Crew blouse I only paid $5 for, my vintage trench and these thrifted jeans cost even less - seriously. I won the shoes in a giveaway, and I love them. They are from Shoes of Prey, and you can customize every shoe they have. It may seem silly, but I made half a dozen slightly different versions of this shoe before settling on the suede d'orsay with a rose gold leather insole trim that you definitely can not make out in these photos.

I love how you made it work even in less than ideal lighting. Those shoes are so fun and I love the wrap blouse on you! I hope you had fun at dinner with your friend!
ReplyDeleteThat is such a beautiful wrap top! :) I have misplaced the flash for my camera so I shoot all my outfit photos in the mornings, haha! That way I don't need to use artificial light. These photos turned out great for night time, you must have a great flash! :)
ReplyDeleteHope you are having a good week so far :) I've lost my voice so not the best week for me, haha! I'm trying to rest up.

I always tell myself that I hate flash photography, but seeing these photos made me really wonder why it is that I think that. I love how they turned out and, surprisingly, it's the close-ups that are my favourite. They have such a different vibe than what we normally present as bloggers, but in a good and original way. Plus, I really have to admire that you're basically wearing an outfit that cost you $10, which I don't think I have ever been able to say in my life...!
