Try as I might, I can't let a winter pass without adding a new coat to my wardrobe. It is a weakness, for sure. But having just the right coat to complete an outfit feels essential to me. I don't regret picking up this teddy coat this year. It's not a super heavy coat, but when layered it's quite cozy.

I love these coats because they are so fun, Lydia!! I have a mint one but it's very lightweight. I may need to add a heavier one to my collection!!

I can't remember the last time a winter went by without me buying a new coat. In fact, this year I bought two - although I told myself that was justifiable because one was a nearly identical replacement for another that had worn out completely. One of my friends once said that she justified all of her coat purchases because coats really are what we wear, and what people see us wear, all through winter, which is a very long season where we live. I don't know where she got that bit of wisdom, but it has always rung very true for me.

I do love teddy coats! Maybe I'll get one for myself next year (or this year on sale even though I'm trying not to shop, haha)

I almost bought a coat like this from ASOS a couple weeks ago, but then I realized that it was pretty much spring here so I didn't need it. I love how you paired this coat with that hat. Great texture on it as well.
ReplyDeleteNice transition outfit and now it's time for real spring outfits!

That is a great coat, so I cannot fault you for the addition. Fun coats make cold weather more bearable.

Having a fun new coat makes winter seem more bearable! I don't buy coats too often but I think I need to embrace that strategy myself. I love that one, it looks really cozy!
ReplyDeletei've been obsessed with the teddy coat but it always sells out so quickly!! love this look on you!

cute & little
I love the scarf for a little touch of colour with your outfit, and of course your coat looks so cosy! I always thought these coats would be super warm, they look it! Maybe if they aren't too warm it would be possible to get one this winter here, I assumed it would be too thick for our climate!
ReplyDeleteHope you are having a great week so far! Been a wet week here, but still not too cold :)

I got a teddy bear coat this winter and you are right! They are so cozy! I have to resist wearing it around the house some times!
ReplyDeleteAs much as I like it on you I do not think I could ever own a light coloured coat. I am too much of a mess.
ReplyDeleteThis is such a chic and cozy outfit dear! Love the coat and the matching leather bag and boots too.
