This is an outfit that I wore to work with a cardigan on. I was going to photograph the cardigan too, but it turned out to be such a gorgeous afternoon, I was happier leaving it in the car.

Sounds like you had a really nice Mother's Day (it's always nice when things like that can be a little low key) - and it must be nice to have weather so nice you no longer need a cardigan.

Aren't those the best days of spring? The ones where you wear a cardigan in the morning but don't need it by the afternoon? That's my absolute favourite kind of weather. I love that this outfit is suitable for your office - we just recently moved to being allowed to wear jeans, but blazers and collared shirts are still mostly expected with them. Thank goodness I work from home, I really don't miss that corporate wardrobe...!

What a great way to spend the day with your mom, Lydia!!
ReplyDeleteIt's so nice that the weather has gotten warmer...I don't mind layering, but it's nice when I don't have to!

Sounds like you had a wonderful weekend in spite of the bad weather. I am loving those olive pants with your floral top!
ReplyDeleteI'm curious about what you cooked! It sounded like a wonderful weekend and the apple trees must have been lovely. The scene in the background is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteThat weekend sounds wonderful! Also, this outfit is spring perfect and I am waiting ACTUAL spring to come back to Kansas instead of summer heat!

I love that pretty floral cami! And that sounds like a fun day cooking with your mom, I love to do that too! We've had some hot weather lately, so I've also been wearing a cardigan in the office but taking it off when I'm outside.
ReplyDeleteIt can be difficult to find a great cherry blossom tree, but you did it. Love the backdrop for these photos and your cute flats.
ReplyDeleteI personally love low key days like that. Glad you all enjoyed it! Pretty look!

That camisole is still one of my favorite summer pieces in my closet! So glad I took the risk when I did and bought it. And now you love it too, hehe :D

Here Mother's Day is in December !
ReplyDeleteOh and that pretty top matches the tree so well.
It is always good to have a backlog of photos. I have a ton but some outfits are definitely more Wintery so I can save them for next year lol. Your Mother's day with your mom sounds great, cannot wait to read your post and post about my special Mother's day too. =)
ReplyDeleteLove this outfit. I happen to love olive green with light pink and those pants against the blush pink trees look great! That bag is adorable, too.
Those flowers are gorgeous and this outfit is so cute! I really like your cami!

This sounds like such a lovely day with your mom- my mom and I always go flower shopping, too! We both loooove to get the gardens ready for spring + summer, and Mother's Day is the offical "it's okay to plant" weekend, since freezes are less likely. :)
