Since I don't go to the Hartford area too often, I took advantage of an otherwise open Sunday afternoon and stopped at the Westfarms Mall. In a world where it feels like malls are dying, this one was surprisingly bustling. Every store I stopped in had a line for the dressing rooms and checkout, and at least three strangers stopped to compliment my cherry shoes. They have been around since nearly the inception of this blog, and are probably the most 'whimsical' shoe I own. They don't come out as often as they once did, but it's nice to know they are still as eye catching as ever.

Oh man both the kalamata olive and the avocado pizzas sound delicious! Yum. I love those shoes, I remember them from earlier posts as well, I'm glad they're still going strong. They add such a fun touch to any look.
ReplyDeleteYou totally need to wear those shoes more, Lydia!! If you don't believe me, then you should believe the people that stopped you to tell you how great they are!!!

I am not at all surprised that those shoes attracted attention and compliments - they are awesome and really cute! Also, that pizza looks delicious ... I wonder if I have time to leave the office for lunch and get pizza?

I remember being both hungry and envious when I saw your stories from Luna Pizza. We actually have lots of good pizza here, but that does stop me from covetting pizza elsewhere. Basically, if there are Italian-inspired carb-based foods anywhere in the world, I want to be eating them ;) I love the outfit your choose for this day, it's simple but perfectly put together and it really does allow your cherry shoes to shine. Although probably not a pair I would wear, they bring a smile to my face whenever I see them on you.
