And I'm the opposite, haha. Looking forward to the crisp air of Fall. Not that I'm wishing Summer to be over (although I could do without our house being almost 90 degrees every day...ugh no AC!)

I am looking forward to fall, but I have to admit that I am a little sad every day that I notice not as much light. I have been so productive and it's just a sad ending!

As always, I'm eagerly anticipating fall and grumbling that summer lasts too long - I like seeing the opposite perspective from you, even if I still can't get on board with enjoying summer.

The thing I miss most when fall comes around is how lights the days are. I don't mind the change of temperatures---it's the daylight that's the hardest for me!!

Love this striped dress! I have one that is similar and need to pull it out before it gets chilly!

I always panic in August because I feel like I haven't made the most out of my summertime. I love fall, but will really miss the warmth, long days, and sunshine of summer!
ReplyDeleteThis is such a classic dress. I look forward to fall mainly because I lived in Florida for 10 years and we bypassed fall each year because it's just so hot. I do get sad because then it means back to scheduling and school though.

I adore this classic dress and yes this entire year is just flying by and it's stressing me out lol.

My modo is Carpe Diem ... enjoy every day as it comes ... from 1st of January until 31st of December ;) So yes I noticed there's already less daylight but I can accept that ;)

Your striped outfit is lovely!

Summer does have a way of getting away from us, doesn't it? I admit I am not as sad about it this year, and my reason for that is twofold. First of all, we've had summer temperatures since the beginning of May so I really feel like I've had the time to make the most of the weather and do most, if not all, of the seasonal things I wanted to do. And with temperatures nearing 40 celcius for most of the last two weeks, I would welcome (slightly) cooler weather. And secondly, we're going to Italy in September, so for me, fall holds a promise of excitement this year. I will look back on saying this in February and regret my words but right now, I'm looking forward to the coming seasons.

This might be one of my favorite outfits that you've ever worn. So classic New England xoxo
ReplyDeleteUgh same!! I totally have been feeling like I'm not making the most of summer!! Super cute outfit!!
ReplyDeleteGreat outfit! It's so classic and timeless, but I feel like you would also fit in well in Italy in this! Beautiful dress and hat.
ReplyDeleteI love your outfit - it's so classy and adorable!
ReplyDeleteSummer is my favorite season.. I don't like extreme hot and cold temperatures but I do adore being able to do more outdoors and the extra daylight!! I get so miserable during the winter. I'm hoping I can survive being stuck indoors this winter with two kids! I'll have to keep finding activities to do.
I am usually a summer lover, but this year it has been quite chaotic. I am ready for fall :)
