With the fading light, most of the flowers were bowing their heads, but the bees had yet to call it a night, and it was much to my mother's chagrin when I told her I was pushing my way through to a small clearing in the center of the field and she was to follow me. But we made it out without being stung, and for the second time this year I had some challenging lighting conditions to contend with in this sunflower field, though it was completely worth it.

I love this beautiful light and you and your mom captured it well! Definitely savor these last summer moments!
ReplyDeletep.s. I want a cute little straw bag now!
This is the kind of light that is absolutely worth getting in the car and driving down the highway to capture. These photos turned out so beautifully, despite the bees. The twilight sky is so pretty is almost doesn't look real, but know that it is just makes it that much better :)

I am EXTREMELY impressed that this was last minute! It looks better than many of my elaborately planned out shoots, which proves that sometimes you can try and force things but you really shouldn't. Also the twilight is just like completely heavenly which never hurts.
