Down at the bottom there are tide pools, and this part would be best visited in sneakers or some shoe more sensible than a sandal. At least you can drive down and park! I saw some people walking the trek and I can only say that I admire their dedication.
As you can see, the views are quite gorgeous no matter where you are, and while I wasn't too keen on the entry fee, it was a worth while visit.

Such pretty views!!!
ReplyDeleteAnd hopefully all those entry fees go to keeping everything in tip top shape and helping the beautiful land around stay protected

Like you, I probably would have balked at the entry fee - I know parks need maintenance, but the idea of paying to enter a place that is essential open air and part of nature always feels wrong to me. Still, it looks like the $15 was absolutely a worthwhile fee to pay for the stunning views, which look very much like a California version of the views that I saw at Peggy's Cove last summer. There is something about the rocky edge of where the land meets the ocean that is just so beautiful.

Those views are spectacular (although it is too bad you had to pay for it).

You caught an absolutely gorgeous day in SD Lydia! And I meant to comment back to your reply in regards to your time here! I live in Temecula which is a couple hours south of LA and one hour north of SD. I’d love to get together if time allows alrhough my weekends are so busy. But I’m so happy you’re here and looks like you’re enjoying it :)

What gorgeous pictures and a beautiful view!! I love that pretty wrap top on you too.
ReplyDeleteSuch stunning views, the 15.00 USD entrance fee seems a bit high but what would you have done with 15.00 USD? Have lunch? buy a tank top? Some things are priceless - you are looking sharp and chic my dear friend.
ReplyDeleteIt looks so gorgeous out there! I have been dying to go there!
