I've had my eye on this raffia bag from Mango since March. I knew I didn't need it, I already have a similar shape bag, and the raffia seems delicate - something I felt I should take into consideration as last summer I had my macrame bag fall apart on me (a friend offered to try and repair it, but still no word on if it can be saved). Yet, when it was on sale with the potential for an extra 20% off, I thought what could be the harm in at least seeing it in person. Obviously the harm would be that I wasn't about to send it back!

What is one more bag, when each one is so unique and interesting in its own right? You only live once, and if you truly appreciate any art, even if it is the art of a good handbag, then I think you deserve to be able to surround yourself with it. But that may just be me rationalising my own extensive handbag collection. Next one my to buy list? A baguette bag. I would be seriously regretting getting ride of the one I had in high school, because it was the perfect shade of beige, except that it was made, improbably, of corduroy, and I doubt corduory handbags are going to make a comeback anytime soon (with good reason.) This bag and dress look to me like they were made for each other, and I would gladly borrow this entire summer look from you :)
