What to Wear for Valentine's Day

I haven't done much in the way of celebrating Valentine's day the past few years, however this year my mom, sister, and I are hosting a Galentine's Day, and when I reviewed my closet for potential outfits, this maxi dress stood out. It has only been worn once, Christmas Eve of 2018, and never properly photographed, so it seemed like a perfect choice.

Another small nod to the occasion with my double heart earrings, and topped off with this vintage inspired faux fur coat; I will be the most glamorous single girl drinking wine and eating chocolate at home with her girlfriends this February 14th.

    That dress is so stunning - and your Valentine's Day plans sounds really good to me. I don't really celebrate the day much but I would figure out some way to mark it if I had a dress as gorgeous as this.

    What a gorgeous dress and it is perfect for Valentine's Day! Although mine will involve the heart-shaped pizza I just picked up at Aldi, so I will probably be a bit more casual ;)

    Valentine's Day, like most holidays, is really not my thing. It's just another day - although at least it falls on a Friday this year. I am more spontaneous, I am starting to realise, when it comes to deciding that I am in the mood to celebrate. Because you don't need a special day, or a partner, to enjoy dressing up, feeling fabulous and having cocktails. You can do it anytime, and when you do, you want to have a fabulous dress in your closet. This one is a stunner, and pairs beautifully with your fur coat. (You always make me want to add to my fur coat collection.)

    Looovely dress Lydia ! I like the red and pink together the earrings were the perfect accessory- I hope you had fun. We usually do nothing this day as restaurants are full and offer terrible service.
