Happy Valentine's Day!

My sister wanted to do a Valentine's shoot with balloons, so naturally that meant digging out a few pieces that would work for the pink and white color palette, and standing in the middle of the road in New Haven to take some fun photos.  


Last year for Valentine's we had a fun Galentine's party, this year was of course a bit more low-key, just a viewing of Crazy Stupid Love, a chocolate cake, and lots of wine.  


Hopefully we won't have to endure socially distanced celebrations too much longer, until then, sending you all virtual hugs!

    Oh I don't recall seeing you with that Rebecca Minkoff before, it's so pretty and perfect with this pastel outfit! :) So fun with the balloons too! :)

    These photos take me back to such a different time in my blogging life, which is funny because one of my best blogger friends and I were just saying how, in many ways, this year feels like 2016. We're embracing all the cliches, diving into theme shoots with props like flowers and balloons because we have to brighten up these long, cold, socially isolated days somehow! I love that you and Ana got balloons for Valentine's Day. I think I might need to get some of my own for some holiday later this year, just because balloons exist and why not. Plus these pink and white ones are gorgeous. I love that you just had the perfect outfit to go with them already hanging in your closet!
