Happy Memorial Day! It was such a rainy and cold weekend, I didn't leave the house, and barely got dressed. It felt very much like being back in lockdown, and how readily I accepted putting on my loungewear and doing nothing should probably be considered a bad sign.
I've been trying to be good and not shop too much this weekend, but it seems possible I'll cave in the 11th hour. You know how that goes. Thus far I've just ordered a white belt bag from Coach. I actually liked the factory version better, but it's sold out and everyone on Poshmark is asking crazy prices.
Aside from that, I have been on a Poshmark kick again, ordering a Lucky Brand dress that I tried on in TJMaxx in 2019 and didn't buy then, but suddenly decided I needed now? Hopefully it still looks as cute as it did then! As well as a light floaty Theory dress, a white Coach backpack, and a cream Theory leather jacket.
Sometimes I actually think I'm being good with my shopping until I take a moment to stop and think about it!

What a cute top! So nice with the jeans and the blue scarf, blue and white are great for spring, especially with the pretty straw bag and of course the beautiful blooms! :)
ReplyDeleteI don't blame you for going back for that dress - I've started eyeing up some older bag styles and trying to see if I can still snap them up now - if I'm not careful I'm going to go over budget, haha!
Hope your week is off to a great start, even with the bad weather!
Away From The Blue
I have been terrible with shopping lately. Every time the seasons transition I start thinking that I don't have enough pieces for whatever the weather happens to be doing (which, of course, I do but it's an excuse to online shop). It looks like you're on the trail of a few really great pieces though!

Such a pretty top! And yea, the weather yesterday was so annoying! Cold until the sun came out at 5pm, haha! We were in recovery/grocery shop mode anyway.
ReplyDeleteAlways funny when you find something you almost bought in the past and then buy it, haha! Guess you tried it on/almost got it for a reason ;)

It was rainy and cool here in KC this weekend, too- definitely good for just kinda hunkering down and relaxing. :)

I know same here, stayed in all weekend really planned to get out the nursery to buy some flowers and maybe the beach but nope. Love this look so fun and perfect for an early summer day. And I must say so many pretty trees by you!!

Ahh the scenery really is so gorgeous! I have only bought big ticket accessories and not clothing in a while. I love your top though! A lace top would be a good closet refresh!
ReplyDeleteEvery time I think to myself, wow, I haven't bought anything for ages, I wind up looking at my credit card bill and realising only three days have passed since my last purchase. So you are absolutely not alone :P I have been trying to make a genuine effort to buy, if not less, then at least better - but better is more expensive, which puts a bit of a damper on the whole plan. I guess at least I have a plan? Or so I keep telling myself, anyway ;)
