The Sun

It's been a grey and wet July, and I'm feeling robbed of my long summer days. I haven't had a beach day (or beach three hours) yet, nor have I gotten ice cream at 9 p.m. while enjoying the last glimmers of sunset while it's still warm out, or had a picnic at a winery, so I hope the sun returns soon. I hate feeling like I'm missing out on summer.

    A perfect Summer look. And I feel you. My one weekend trip was half rained out (but still enjoyable) and I'm waiting for a nice weekend to take a last minute trip to Rhode Island with my aunt (they like to go up and then see if a campsite is available to stay overnight.) Not looking good for this weekend, ha ha.

    I hope the summer weather has improved since you wrote this post! We have had a beautiful summer, it's been a shame that we haven't been able to fully enjoy it with ongoing restrictions but I can't imagine restrictions and bad summer weather - that would really be too much to have to tolerate!
